Privacy policy

The short version

The tools on LocalScriptBox run inside your browser. Files you open with them are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. There are no accounts, and we don't collect or sell personal information. The only time anything you type is sent to us is when you choose to use the feedback form.

Files you use with the tools

When you select or drop a file into a tool, your browser reads it locally and the tool's code processes it on your device. The file and the results are not sent over the internet and are not stored after you close or reload the page.

Services the site relies on

LocalScriptBox does not run its own servers, analytics or tracking. Your browser does connect to these outside services, which receive basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) when it does:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and delivers its pages. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts serves the site's fonts. See the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
• jsDelivr serves open-source code libraries that some tools load (for example the PDF, QR code and image-processing tools). Only the library is downloaded; your files stay on your device. See the jsDelivr privacy policy.
• Hugging Face serves the model file for the Background Remover's optional Precise mode, only if you switch it on. The model runs on your device; your photos are not sent anywhere. See the Hugging Face privacy policy.

Feedback form

If you send a suggestion or problem report through the feedback page, your message, the page you sent it from, your browser type and, if you choose to give it, your email address are delivered to us by email through Web3Forms. We use them only to read and reply to your message, and we don't share them.

Cookies and local storage

LocalScriptBox itself does not set cookies. Some tools remember your settings or work (for example a drawing, an invoice or a list of time zones) using your browser's local storage; that information stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Advertising

LocalScriptBox does not currently show ads. If that changes, this section will explain which ad providers are used and how they use cookies.

Games site

The separate games site, games.localscriptbox.com, embeds games provided by third-party game distributors. Those games, and any ads shown inside them, are run by their providers under their own privacy policies.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
